Dillinger, like many of his mates signed record deals with the death penalty after being introduced to Dr. Dre by Warren G just as Dre began recording his seminal 1992 album The Chronic Dillinger contributed to chronic as well as his cousin Snoop Doggy Dogg's multi-platinum Doggystyle Tupac Shakur's All Eyez on me and most of the label, multi-platinum releases
He released his first album Dogg Food with Kurupt Tha Dogg Pound which went multi-platinum continuing Death Row's force as the most successful hip hop label imitater Dr. Drevänster label Daz became Death Row's main producer and was largely involved in Snoop's second album Tha Doggfather and various compilations and soundtracks After the death of Tupac Shakur, the outgoing Snoop Dogg Kurupt Nate Dogg and the imprisonment of label CEO Suge Knight, Daz was the only major Artist remain on Death Row and the main responsibility for the work of the label in 1998, he released his solo bid Retaliation Revenge & Get Back for the first time using more commercial-friendly artist name Daz Dillinger and although the album reached gold status was considered a commercial failure for the continuing high standards set by Death Row's previous releases
Around 2000 Daz left the crumbling Death Row records and started his own impRinta DPG Recordz He released his second solo album in 2000's RAW independently Although the album did not achieve success in his Death Row release the album was a cult in the underground West Coast rap scene after Daz has kept its activities as CEO of his record label and has released several EP and LP records to his name.
