DJ Wool
Brooklyn, New York + Berlin, GermanyGlen Brady is a Music Producer, Sound Designer and DJ from Ireland who splits his time between Northern California and Berlin, Germany. He currently has releases on Discobelle Records, Top Billin' Music, Plant Music and Tracy Recordings. He is a founding member of Indie Dance duo The Glass with Dominique Keegan of Plant Music NYC. Music by Wool and The Glass features widely on U.S. television series such as Gossip Girl, CSI Miami, CBS TV's Lie To Me, MTV's The Hills, The New Beavis & Butthead and Eleventh Hour amongst others. DJ Wool's Strobelight featuring Subtitle is featured on Disney's phone app Tap Tap Revenge. Wool's Remix clients include: Far East Movement, Snoop Dog, Rakim, Smalltown Romeo, Izza Kizza, Camp Lo, Tittsworth feat Kid Sister, Pase Rock, Das Shadow and many more.
The Glass have released numerous singles and Ep's and the album At Swim Two Birds was released in the US December 2010 and is slated for a worldwide release later in 2011. Their latest single Four Four Letter hit #12 on the Beatport Indie Dance Chart, Top Ten on the German Club Chart and # 10 on UK Cool Cuts chart. The single has been getting huge support from DJs including Aeroplane, Cassius, Malente, Russ Chimes, Tony Humphries and has had consistent play on Uk's BBC Radio 1. Their latest single 'Washed UP' is slated for release September 2011 and includes remixes by Todd Terry. The Glass have remixed and been remixed by Aisa Argento, Luke Solomon, Nadastrom, Eli Escobar, Ursula 1000, INXS, Kasper Bjorke, Stretch Armstrong, Rinocerose, The Photo Atlas, Telepopmusic, Shitake Monkey, Just Jack, Junior Sanchez and many more...
Glen mixed/engineered the 2008 debut album by Baltimore Beats artist Tittsworth '12 Steps' featuring appearances by Nina Sky, Pitbull, The Federation, Dave Nada, Kid Sister, Pase Rock. DJ Wool also produced the track Party by successful Californian Hip hop act The Far East Movement which has featured on CBS TV's 'Lie To Me' & Gossip Girl. DJ Wool Mixed and Engineered 'Sound of Young New York' Compilations 1,2 and 3. Glen was a session musician and programmer on REM's Album 'Reveal' Warner bros 2001. He was also DMC mixing champion in his home country of Ireland in 1998.
