Dr. Seahorse

Dr. Seahorse is a collaboration between singer/songwriter Trevor Davis and producer Mark Suhonen. This duo began dreaming up an electronic project together in June of 2007. Trevor would spend months writing the songs then deliver them to Mark who would spend months producing them.

They came up with something that's Michael Jackson meets Postal Service meets a Wes Anderson movie and is both emotionally honest and entertainingly quirky. The lyrics speak of strength through dependency while the music dances into your ears and tickles your heart.

Dr. Seahorse officially released their debut album “Symptoms of Trend” in the beginning of 2009. They started to design and create what a live show could look like and performed their first official concert March 26, 2009 at Anthology in San Diego, CA.

For over seven years, Trevor has been songwriting and performing acoustic shows under his own name. But As Dr. Seahorse, Trevor is free to move and dance across the stage alongside his talented soulful voice. Mark keeps the music brilliantly flowing with drum machines, energetic beats and smooth percussion sounds. Mark has been playing drums for over 20 years and specializes in programming and producing rhythm tracks.

Trevor and Mark have enjoyed working with each other these last couple years and are excited for what the future holds. They know that this project couldn’t have gone so well without their supportive family & fans.
