Imagine Dragons
Las Vegas, NevadaFront man Dan Reynolds is Vegas to the core – 3rd generation to be exact. True to his heritage, Reynolds is a genetically compulsive showman, erratic, kinetic, and captivating. Wayne Sermon and Ben McKee, on guitar and bass respectively, are long time friends from the prestigious Berklee College of Music where they earned their serious chops. Andrew Tolman and Brittany Robinson round out the band with drums and keys, both with extensive experience touring and performing around the globe.
But the best bands in the world are better than the sum of the talent of their individual members, and Imagine Dragons is no exception. The band’s synergy in songcrafting and performance is unmistakable. As noted by Las Vegas Citylife Magazine in a review of a recent performance, “The near-capacity Hard Rock crowd who witnessed Thursday night’s closer. . . saw a frantic yet diligently executed, perfectly mixed finale that, for the first time I’ve witnessed locally in a quite a while, had the audience bolting to their feet and roaring, happily startled at the explosion.”
Imagine Dragons is a young band with young members, but these kids aren’t wasting any time. As a Las Vegas Weekly music critic explained, “While the atmosphere is electric, the band still seems restrained by the small setting . . . its members are hungry for more.” Their insatiable appetite for greatness drives them to long hours of practice and a hefty workload of songwriting and performances. The restless energy of Imagine Dragons is infectious. Come to a show to find out why.
