Mage 'Ru

Magéru is the collaborative effort between International Recording Artist Ruut, (JVC Japan /  Capitol Scandinavia)  and Nashville producer/DJ remixer Magellan (a.k.a. Paul Buono). Having worked together at brief intervals from 1998 to 2003, they officially joined forces in 2004 to work on Ruut's first solo release, and through the years, fine-tuned the unique sound that defines Magéru, as a result of various different projects. The idea for "Poetic Disco" was born at Helsinki South studio in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2007, when the production team ventured on their first electronic/ dance endeavor. Most songs on the release were written freshly for the project, while others are remixes of co-written songs between Ruut and Magellan. The album is due out in June 2010. Magéru are working on their next release under the Mainspring Juncture label, which is to be more contemplative and mood-setting, than the energetic and bold first release, Poetic Disco.
