McBride And The Ride

McBride & The Ride, also known as Terry McBride & The Ride, was an American country music band consisting of Terry McBride (born September 16, 1958 in Austin, Texas), Ray Herndon (born July 14, 1960 in Scottsdale, Arizona), and Billy Thomas (born October 24, 1953 in Fort Myers, Florida). Starting with their first chart single in 1991, the band recorded three albums for MCA Nashville Records under its original lineup, in addition to charting four Top Ten singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. A membership change in 1994 produced a fourth album and additional, low-charting singles before the group split up a year later. While the group was disbanded, MCA Nashville released a Greatest Hits package before dropping the band from its roster. The original lineup re-formed in 2002 to record its final album on the Dualtone label before disbanding again.
