The Gangsters of Love

Barcelona, Spain

“Post Mafia Swing” is how The Gangsters of Love like to describe their original take on the musical landscape in which they reside. Formed by Marc Curcio, Daniel Lippitt and Joel Pritzl , three American ex-pats now living in Barcelona Spain, The Gangsters have been wowing audiences across Spain and Europe with their blend of gypsy/garage/alt rock sounds, bravado and on-stage antics. Individually they all paid their dues, and then some, performing, touring and recording in North America. But it wasn't until they found Europe as their home that they were really able to experience true amour-propre. Perhaps it was the combination of the fine Mediterranean wine, women and history that provided them with a new muse.

The band has been hailed by Metropolitan Magazine as “a swinging, soulful fusion of cultures”, and BCN Week called them “The new bad-boy prophets of debauchery”.

Preparing for the release of their debut album in early 2010 on label Whatabout Music, they are ready to take on the world
