Urban Mystic’s 2004 KayGee-produced hit single “Where Were You?” quickly resonated at urban radio upon its release, and is still a recurrent tune to this day. The video for the song enjoyed rotation at BET, MTV Jams, and hundreds of video outlets across the country. The popularity of “Where Were You” from the debut album "Ghetto Revelations" established Urban Mystic as a vocalist to be reckoned with.??
His selection as the 2004 Miami Music Award’s Best New Artist was early proof of Urban Mystic’s bright future. He followed with the 2005 single “It’s You” featuring Paul Wall, and released "Ghetto Revelations II" in 2006, garnering even more attention for his stellar vocals.
